Design of a hotel information system management application
Project
The director of a hotel establishment plans to integrate a modern information system for efficient customer reservation management. Upon arrival, customers provide ID, and first-time visitors have their details automatically saved. A loyalty program awards points for stays, redeemable for free services or discounts. Arrival dates are recorded at check-in, and departure dates at check-out. Additional charges for services like pool, spa, or breakfast are applicable. Customers settle bills, including room and extra service costs, with payment options like credit card, check, or cash. Discounts may apply. Reservations require specifying the number of guests and the purpose of the stay. The vast hotel, divided into buildings named after influential Moroccans, assigns unique numbers to each floor and room, ensuring no duplicates. A room is considered occupied upon reservation validation and available after check-out.
